I invite prospective M.A. students to join the M.A. Linguistics program at Universitas Diponegoro and the CARDHISS (Corpus Approaches to Digital Humanities) research group:

Research areas include (but are not limited to):

• Corpus-based idiomatic translation & NMT evaluation

• Development of NLP tools (e.g. tokeniser, lemmatiser, POS tagger, sentiment analysis)

• Corpus approaches to discourse analysis (e.g. legal language, media discourse, conversation analysis)

• Corpus-based applied linguistics (e.g. TPACK, data-driven learning, digital classroom discourse)

• Language technology applications (e.g. corpus tools, writing assistants, scrapers)

• Digitalisation of under-resourced language documentation (e.g. dictionaries, reference grammars, wordlists)
